HubSpot Enrichment

The Org Enrichment app adds an Org Chart card to HubSpot contact and company records. Open the chart in HubSpot, see which people are already contacts, and import new ones with Create Contact.

Install from CRM Enrichment on The Org

⚠️

HubSpot does not add marketplace app cards to new installs automatically. After you connect the app, a Super Admin (or a user with Customize record page layout) must place Org Chart on the default contact and company views. See After install.

Prerequisites

A HubSpot account with permission to install apps
A The Org account (any user on the HubSpot portal can use the app once it is installed)
Super Admin, or Customize record page layout, to pin the card after install

Install

Open the install flow

On The Org, go to CRM Enrichment and choose Install Hubspot app, or install from the HubSpot Marketplace listing .

HubSpot asks you to log in. If you only have one HubSpot account, this step is skipped.

Review scopes and connect

The app requests read and write access to contacts and companies (oauth, crm.objects.contacts.read/write, crm.objects.companies.read/write). Approve the install.

Once the app is installed on the portal, everyone in that HubSpot account can use it.

After install

HubSpot no longer puts this card on contact and company sidebars by default. Pin Org Chart on the default views once.

Open connected apps

In HubSpot, click the settings icon in the top navigation bar. Go to Integrations → Connected apps.

Manage Org Chart locations

Open The Org Enrichment, then the App cards tab. On Org Chart, click Manage locations.

Enable default views

Select the Default view checkbox for Contacts and for Companies. Click Save.

Open any contact or company record. Org Chart should appear in the right sidebar.

Alternative: add from a record

Open a contact or company record.
Click Customize at the top of the record, then Default view.
In the right panel, open Card library, filter Card types to App, and add Org Chart.
Click Save and exit.

Existing customers who already had the classic Org Chart card keep it in the same sidebar slot. New installs need the steps above once.

Use the card

Open a contact or company.
Click View Org Chart on the Org Chart card.
Contacts that already exist in HubSpot are highlighted in orange.
Click Create Contact to resolve contact information and add that person to HubSpot.

You are charged one contact credit for each new contact you import.

If the record does not match a company on The Org, search from the iframe and pick a company.

Uninstall

In HubSpot: Settings → Integrations → Connected apps → The Org Enrichment → Uninstall. Removing the app does not delete contacts you already imported.
